A new old conspiracy every week. What, are we already tired of the Catholic Church conspiracy to bury the scoop about Jesus' marriage (where was it, in Namibia, with Mary Magdalene selling the pics of the infant to the tabloids of the day?) that we have to move on (.org) to the Build-A-Burgers? I can't keep up, but I suspect that the consumers of the conspiracy theories are all the same church of believers, in the Kennedy assasinations, OKC or the Elders of Zion. Yes, sir, you fools have more in common with the believers in the conspiracy of the Elders of Zion than with the rest of us sceptics, cynics and anarchists (all conspiring with one another to deny there are conspiracies, needless to say.)
What is the case, I am confident, is that not all power is exercised in this world by our elected representatives, public corporations, nations, or public organizations.
A substantial chunk of power is exercised somewhat behind the scenes by the very rich and powerful. Likely it is such who are a primary force pushing for a New World Order and One World Government. They don't seem to have a whole lot of respect for our American Constitution.
I doubt as a group that they are very religious. I doubt they place worrying about the Freedoms of us Americans very high in their priorities. Great wealth and power brings its own form of freedom.
They are a mixed blessing, being a key force behind the enormous increase in human wealth and well being over the last century or two, but also likely playing critical roles in the many wars, great and small.
They exert much power over the sheeple, through various mass media.
My biggest worry -- they are going to figure out that this new fangled gadget that Al Gore invented, the internet, is leaching their power. Thank God for people like Jim Robinson and sites like the Free Republic. I hope we are ready for an escalation in this great war for freedom and civilization.
