It appears that the degree of care and organization he puts into his office
is quite telling.

You should have seen a photo of Einstein's office.
It looked it had been used as a nuclear weapons test range.

Most profs offices I've seen are pretty organized. But some of the
truly smart ones keep offices that are total messes.

The Rev. Jim Rigby, pastor of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, knew not everyone agreed with the decision to accept Jensen.

Which he really can't understand since Satan has been a voting member of that church for the last 8 years...

I made the transition to PCA in '88 and never looked back.

He could tell them that he didn't believe in Allah, but he's there for social justice. That would be funny.

Where to start? The whole thing says more about the sorry state of the Presbyterian church than it does about Jensen.

Rigby is a major pro-abort supporter. A true lib.

First of all, referencing 'medieval' is pointless since Christianity and its' rules of behavuior began 2,000 years ago.

Secondly, you can't join a baseball team and then insist that everybody, to please you, play soccer. There is no such thing as a 'fundamentalist' baseball player. You play by the rules or join some other team sport or don't join a team at all.

Jensen knows this. He ain't stupid. Just totally self-centered.

I was a member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church when the PCA was started. The first meeting to form it was at Briarwood. Still in PCA but in a church nearer to me

Somewhere there's a verse in the New Testament about the end times having people who "hold close to a form of godliness, yet deny its power and avoid such men as these".

I think those words pretty much define this church. Sadly, it is one of many.

move to a pew in a PCA Church.

Other options would be OPC, ARP, RCUS, United Reformed, even EPC.

I think you are talking about 2 Tim. 3:5:

having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.

Yup. That's it. It's a little different in my NASB upbringing and I was too lazy to look it up.

I do think of that verse, though, everytime I see liberal clergy embracing sin so than man can be pleased and claiming God approves when the Scriptures clearly speak the opposite. It saddens me more than it angers me.

Not church shopping, just moving. With a child to consider. Sometimes we make decisions for our children that we would not make on our own.
