I think Zarqawi biting the big one, on the heels of the special election in California to replace Duke Cunningham, AND no Rove indictment just sent the RATS completely over the edge. That's three huge whammies in less than a week, and being as they're already unbalanced, this triple play just sent them right where they were already headed. This not only took immigration off the front pages, but it revitalized a demoralized GOP and its base. Finally, the whole William Jefferson fiasco didn't help them.
Hah! You're exactly right, it was definitely hell week for them and I don't think it's over yet. If the crackdown continues throughout Baghdad by Maliki and our troops and more of the lies are exposed about the crucifying of the Haditha Marines the Dems are in for more of it.

Pay attention to the (lack of) real news - notice that there have been virtually NO earnings warnings...??? Can you say DOW 12, 13, 14,000??? before the mid-term elections?
Tom Delay's Texas gerrymandering stands; progress in Iraq; returning troops; and a absolutely BOOMING economy... this could turn out to be an historic non-win by the opposing party in the President's traditionally weakest (6th) year in U.S. history.
