So, if they were lying to Saddam, how can WE outside spy agencies, get the real information? Ignore the physical documents and reports and try to infiltrate unknown weapons sites to prove the documents are false? Great post.

>>The Public Support, as in general population of adults means absolutely nothing on how we conduct this war. President Bush is going to fight this war even if he is the only person left to support it.<<
Its important for midterms. Yes the President is staying the course but we need to elect congressfolk that won't do something stupid.
>> Please accustom yourself to 40% of or so of "adults" supporting the war (which is a slim majority of "real voters") and 60% of "adults" not supporting it (which is a minority of "real voters"). I hope you are one of the 40%.<<
"Supporting the war" is actually several different categories. The important number isn't the portion who think invading was a good idea. The important number is the percent who want to cut and run. That percent is thankfully less than 50% even for Democrats.

BTW, I'm watching Fox news. They just said Kerry has revamped his cut and run strategy to "cut and jog" to attract more than the 6 votes he got last time.

I voted for, before I voted against, before I voted to modify what I voted for, I mean against, or something like that.

"national media"
I have been scrupulously scanning a number of major rags and of course the telly for ANY!!! mention much less discussion of these Saddam papers. It's a national disgrace, but obviously Big Lib Media is scared to death of the implications of these revelations. Printing or airing them for public discussion would cause Bush's poll ratings to jump ten to twenty points overnight. ( ( I laugh at the thought of a NY Slimes headline "Bush right about Saddam; Hussein hip deep in terrorist activities"....I can dream can't I?) Americans are still remarkably ignorant about Saddam's terrorist activities. And Big Lib Media wants to keep it that way...their survival depends on it.

Just found the link to this in the comments at Captain's Quarters. I haven't slept all night and NOW I find this? (Arrghhh!) Will return after some sleep to read everything/see if anyone's picked up on this.
(I did just add this to my Saddam/WMD post at my site, but I'm no Captain Ed.) ;-)
