Albright: Iraq invasion encouraged others

By ALEX NICHOLSON, Associated Press Writer 14 minutes ago

Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright criticized the U.S. invasion of Iraq, saying Monday it had encouraged Iran and North Korea to push ahead with their nuclear programs.

Albright, who served under President Clinton, said "the message out of Iraq is the wrong one."

"The message out of Iraq is that if you don't have nuclear weapons, you get invaded. If you do have nuclear weapons, you don't get invaded," she said after an investors' conference in Moscow.

Albright visited North Korea in October 2000, becoming the highest-level American official ever to travel to the country. The two nations do not have formal diplomatic relations.

Albright also said Russia did not deserve membership in the Group of Eight major industrialized nations because it did not meet all the requirements.

"In terms of some criteria on open society, democracy, there are more and more questions, frankly," said Albright, who is now a business consultant.

"Iraq is a long way from Ohio, but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."

"No one has done what Saddam Hussein has done, or is thinking of doing. He is producing weapons of mass destruction, and he is qualitatively and quantitatively different from other dictators."

Disingenuous to say the least.

It's a shame that our MSM, which is supposed to serve us, has not shown this hag and the rest of her compatriots to be the traitors they actually are. On the contrary, our MSM is complicit in the treason.

I hope I live long enough to see justice served.

Halfbright is just that -- an old hand-wringing liberal who sits near the top of the "blame America first" group of spineless traitors. No wonder ole Billy the Reprobate picked her for the job. Total loser.

Al-AP forgets to mention she is one of the reason North Korea is getting Nukes. But then again Al-AP and the rest of the lying MSM want us to believe that current US history only began on Jan 20, 2001 when Bush took office.

The fact that Albright and legions of other discredited Clintonistas are not hiding is shame just amazes me. From Carter on, the more damage they did the more vocal and visible they become. Stunning in their arrogance.

Albright and Murtha should coauthor a book: Senility and the Political Mind.

The Brits were the first to learn that lesson...

Also, as my son says all the time, "They're gonna get it now, NEVER make Godzilla mad.."

OK Ms. Not-So-Bright.

At the end of the Clinton 8 disaster years, you yourself said Saddam had WMD's, not once but several times. What changed? What happened to them? Did you stuff them in your bra and smuggle them out for him and get Sandy to help you?
