Connecticut, where I reside, has one, and a good one as I remember, but that doesn't mean the legal establishment respects it. (We could say the same thing about the US Constitution!)

Better archive that page. There are forces within the USA that are actively working towards the day when the word "God" is removed.
They wouldn't bother to write a new one. Avoiding the one offered was their best choice.

They all entered the Union illegally. No amnesty.
