COLUMBUS, Ohio Democrats are accusing Ohio Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell of playing politics with his campaign Web site for governor.
Democrats say the Republican's Web site has a voter registration form that's easy to use. Visitors can simply fill out the form online, print it out and mail it in.
But on the Ohio Secretary of State's Web site, users are required to print the form and fill it out by hand.
Jennifer Brunner is the Democratic candidate for secretary of state. She accuses Blackwell of wanting to make it easier for his supporters to register to vote.
A spokesman for the Blackwell campaign denies the claim.
Responding to the criticism, a spokesman for the secretary of state's office says the state will make its Web site more user friendly.

It's pretty common for government tech to be less user-friendly than private-sector tech.

Oh!! The shame of it all!!!!

She accuses Blackwell of wanting to make it easier for his supporters to register to vote. What a horrible thing! As if Dems haven't been doing that for ages.
When Democrats go to nursing homes and fill the forms out for Alzheimer's patients and later help them vote, that's OK.

Are the Dems too dumb to put a user-friendly form on their own website? The questions answers itself.

Brunner is really upset because dead people and cartoon characters can't fill out online forms to vote for Dems.

His opponents are free to register at his site, too.

I thought the dems WANTED to make it easier to vote. Motor Voter, early voting, no ID required, provisional ballots, day of voting registration etc, etc. Oh, they just want it easier for THEIR base to vote. What the hell was I thinking?

So on the campaign site I can type, print and mail instead of print, write and mail? The Republic is in danger - take to the streets to right this wrong! < /sarcasm of mass destruction>

His opponents are free to register at his site, too.First thing I thought of.
Use his website and link to register your voters, and let him pay the cost.
But then I realized the fear factor, how many dems might linger around his site, like what they read and see and wind up voting for him.

Look sugar-britches, he has one job. He is applying for a different job, and has not yet been hired. THE TWO ARE NOT RELATED!
