Indeed. How is it the populous is not tearing up the joint, demanding to know why they have rockets, but no basic modern necessities like heat, electricity, food, and clean water.

I got this link here a few days ago, and man it is the creepiest pics I ever saw, and most of them were NOT supposed to have been taken....
060622-N-0000X-001 Pacific Ocean (June 22, 2006) - A Standard Missile Three (SM-3) is launched from the guided missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67) during a joint Missile Defense Agency, U.S. Navy ballistic missile flight test. Two minutes later, the SM-3 intercepted a separating ballistic missile threat target, launched from the Pacific Missile Range Facility, Barking Sands, Kauai, Hawaii. The test was the seventh intercept, in eight program flight tests, by the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense. The maritime capability is designed to intercept short to medium-range ballistic missile threats in the midcourse phase of flight. U.S. Navy photo (RELEASED)
You guys are going to look mighty stupid when we shoot it down, and you Korean sloths don't have the range to hit GW Bush's window anyway.
Perhaps they are so isolated, and deliberately so, that they have no frame of reference. Maybe it is an accepted common-knowledge truth in North Korea that you can defend the country against the unimaginable evils of the United States, or you can feed people and have conveniences, but not both at the same time.
But then, if you're a North Korean talking to outside media in North Korea, you say what you're expected to say.
ping!
That question was answered in the last paragraph:
Over the past half-century that system has translated into a Communist personality cult surpassing that of Ceausescu's Romania or Hoxha's Albania, with human rights groups documenting widespread cases of torture, public executions, and slave labour.
Got it ?
And then said "would you like a doggy bag for your unfinished dog?"
My question was rhetorical.
"In this case we should fire it at United States, right to the White House, in Bush's window."
And may our President Bush send one back to go right up your ass!
So, let me get this straight. We have an elected leader who many hate. North Korea is led by a total crazy in a country where I have heard the populace is several inches shorter than the Southern part of the penninsula due to 50 years of almost starvation while they built thier military.
Amazing.
How about we put one down Kim's window too? LOL!
In the hotel you can watch BBC,NTV (russian chan),and a couple of chinese channels . . .
I can't help but wonder why MSNBCNNPRABCBS isn't included.
Sounds like what people on Liberty Post would say.
"And may our President Bush send one back to go right up your ass!"
I think it would be many more than one.
They send one, N. Korea would be dust. Finished forever.
I am not sure what's sadder:
The fact these citizens are fed a litany of neverending propaganda on a daily basis, or that a NK waitress knows her country is still at war with the U.S. So few Americans realize the 1953 agreement was only a cease-fire.
And what, exactly, did the *Crintons do to prevent this?
My response wasn't.
However, for rhetoric's sake, why do these same international 'human rights groups' get completely ignored by the drive-by media whenever atrocities against the citizenry of other countries are cited? But a few small indiginities on captured terrorists by US troops gets plastered across the headlines like they were the second coming of Hitler?
When I take a look at a globe the shortest route to the United States from North Korea is over the northern part of Alaska. And at a glance using that route, Chicago looks just about as close to North Korea as Los Angeles is. So when they say they could hit the west coast I don't see how that doesn't also mean they could also hit a large part of the rest of the United States.
And if they don't say it, they know they're headed off to the prison camp. If they're lucky.
This is news?
