[Why does the author feel the need to say "luxury car" and "Jaguar" in the 1st paragraph.
Wouldn't it have been as tragic if he did it in a Chevy Cavalier?]

Well, gee, I don't know why they mentioned it, perhaps it is the incredulity of wrecking a Jaguar as opposed to a Cavalier. Ask the NY Daily News, and yes, it would have been just as tragic in a Cavalier. Interesting that you would focus on that detail of the article, lol.

At least it was a car instead of an SUV. If it was the headline would have been:

Bouncer Mother Rips SUV Which Ran Over Son And Three Others

I've become numb with these type of news stories.

And to be fair, I believe it's a coincidence that this kid was a muslim.

He's just another really drunk and stupid college student that got humiliated in front of his friends.

It's not like he yoddled "Allah Achbar" or something.

PS...what's your moniker mean. NYC?

IIRC, the perp's hometown is Vienna, Va which is about 7 miles as the crow flies from the Dar al-Hijrah mosque in Falls Church...considered to be the most dangerous mosque in the U.S. by author and islam watcher Paul Sperry.
