There sure is a good chance that Cannon will go down? Why? Well, that's because Cannon has made a career of voting for amnesty, rewards, privileges, and benefits for illegal aliens. Now that he's got a challenger with enough funds to put up a real challenge, and the word is out on Cannon's terrible record (despite his lies to the contrary) Cannon finds himself in real trouble.

A poll published over the weekend by the Deseret Morning News and KSL-TV, conducted by Dan Jones & Associates, found Cannon ahead — 46-33 percent among registered voters in the 3rd District.

If that poll were accurate then Cannon would be a shoo-in. The fact is the only reason why they're reporting he could lose is that every other poll has it far tighter. Maybe it has something to do with likely voters instead...

Conservatives certainly won't miss him. I received the sweetest letter from Kay Baily Hutchison regarding her feeling about illegal immigration and how it should be dealt with. There is not much I disagree with her about her stance. I am not totally against a guest worker program, but I agree with her that they should return home first and then apply and their acceptance being on condition that no American has applied for the job.

She in no way thinks the measures presented for guarding the border using drones and all the other lame measures presented go nearly far enough.

In Texas we have the closest thing to conservative politicians in the entire USofA and their voting record backs them up. To me Cornyn is still an unknown entity, he sounds pretty globalist minded while voting conservative. Perhaps he knows better than not to vote the right way despite his personal preference, or perhaps he just knows how to play the political game.

The name Joe Barton is all that needs to be said when speaking about conservative.

If every state in the union had the choices we do for politicians we would have no problems.

Illegal immigration should be the litmus test in this election. Cannon is allied with forces such as MEChA and La Raza who want unrestricted illegal immigration. He wants the taxpayers of Utah to pay for illegal immigrants who use social services(such as schooling and medical care) which is exclusively reserved for the residents of Utah because they pay taxes. He supports CIRA and its potential of having 100 million immigrants entering this country. I hope that the people of his dictrict vote him out of office because of his support of illegal immigrants
