Today is July 1 and the start of the 4th of July weekend. I am sickened that my state of Colorado chose this date to enact the antismoking law for all public places (you know, public places owned by private citizens).

This country is rapidly becoming a "marxist democracy", if you can understand my meaning. Our Republic is falling right before our eyes.

I'm having a hard time getting into the 4th of July feeling I used to relish and enjoy in my younger days.
