We get defensive because the UN and Liberals want to take over the US. We'd live under international law...and we got a taste of that last week from the Supreme Court...we'd pay taxes to the UN, every last man jack like it or not...we'd supply the armies and munitions needed for UN military excursions. The EU -- France, Belgium, et al (our betters), would do the thinking for us because they're cultured and smart. All the things we're not. Nothing's changed in all these years. If a vote were held tomorrow, we'd still take up arms against the king. Any king.

There's something special about the air or water in America. It changes you. 'Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness'. We take that very seriously, it's mother's milk to every American.

We need to reiterate this concept every chance we get.

We have been in a struggle with forces - media, leftists, atheists - who are negative on America as we now exist. The sides are getting as defined as they were in the 1850s, only most people who are not thinking about politics all day long (like I confess I am) are not aware of the strength of the division. Very few are aware that these people want to change America fundamentally. Since Liberalism is not a majority philosophy in the US, these people look to forces outside the US, such as the UN, to "take over."

The very thought is frightening. Are Americans as a whole too complacent? How many U.S. citizens are aware that forces inside and outside the country are willing to destroy it?

And what do we do about an administration that, IMO, supports open borders...is focused on an agenda it knows very well the majority of Americans oppose?

Short of half or more adults tuning out the mainstream media, how can we let them know we will not tolerate their leftist propoganda?

We should be willing to hear criticism from other countries...we're not perfect. But better to adopt an "offensive" stance rather than succomb to defensiveness.

Polls are a poor way to make policy. How accurate are they, after all?

If the U.S. decides that certain other countries don't like us or believe our goal is to take over the world, let's try withdrawing ALL our support: military, health, food and money, and close the doors to all immigration into this land.

I welcome your comments.
