Looks as if the Tancredo base is driving policy if this story is true, and path-to-citizenship is dead.

No, the Tancredo base is against the Pence plan. They were told by Dear Leader it is an amnesty plan too.

Even though the Pence plan is nearly identical to Tancredo's 2003 plan LOL!

Tancredo opposes his own plan. Now I love Tancredo but he needs to support the Pence plan and get enforcement passed as soon as possible.
