I gotta tell you, I don't think Ken Lay was this monster they made him out to be. An inept CEO.......yes! He had no business holding the reins of this company and he let others play him like a cheap fiddle, further proof he should have been replaced........so many lives ruined and a big corporation that employed thousands, bites the dust and a sad ending for Lay's family. But, that's just me and the way I see it.

I think Ken Lay deserved to go to prison etc. The thing that bothered me the most about him is that he never seemed to have any remorse. He just seemed to think the world was treating him unfairly. I also remember his wife on television after the whole story broke, wearing a Rolex and crying about how they had to sell one of their vacation homes. she said they had nothing left. They were all about themselves and didn't care about anyone else.

Unfortunately, he will never go to jail.

Remember seeing on TV conducting an Enron employee meeting, fraudulently pumping the company, emploring employees to buy Enron stock while he was in the process of unloading his. Ken Lay was a first class shyster crook ... for those of you out there in FReeper land defending this POS you are obviously misinformed.
