Like its sister aircraft, the Airbus A300, the A310 is reaching the end of its market life as a passenger and cargo aircraft. There have been no new A310 passenger orders since the late 1990s, and only a few freighter orders remain. The A310 (along with the A300) will cease production in July of 2007.

Siberia Airlines flight 1047 was destroyed by a terrorist bombing on August 24, 2004.

Looks like this is pilot or mechanical error, though. Siberia Airlines has had a rough couple of years.

If its S7 (formerly Siberian Airlines), they have a bad record.

* October 4, 2001: A Tupolev Tu-154M jet operating as Siberia Airlines Flight 1812 (RA-85693) en route from Tel Aviv to Novosibirsk crashed into the Black Sea off Sochi after being accidentally hit by a Ukrainian S-200 surface-to-air missile, killing all 78 people on board.
* August 24, 2004: A Tupolev Tu-154B2 jet operating as Siberia Airlines flight 1047 (RA-85556) en route from Moscow to Sochi exploded and crashed due to a terrorist bombing near Rostov-on-Don, Russia, killing all 46 people on board.

And, they do fly A310's

To be fair, S7 can hardly be blamed for those other incidents. 3 major disasters in 6 years is rough for any airline to absorb though.
