Fox is reporting live for Beirut. Sea Stallion helicopters are now evacuating women, children and other special cases from via landings at the Beirut embassy.
Wonder if Shep will broadcast from the roof?
Why to evacuate? It is terrorists who are being bombed.

Geraldo is no doubt preparing to report about 100's of American babies stacked like cordwood in our Embassy's freezers after starving to death. Shep is ginning up the tear factory as he gets ready to demand why nobody is driving trucks across the Med to evacuate more people.
With any luck, the Israeli campaign to rid Lebanon of worthless trash will take both of them out of our misery.
I noticed this is the lame stream media's latest angle of attack on Bush, that the US government and embassy has been too slow to evacuate Americans from Lebanon. They're trying to create another Katrina like "debacle" they can use to pound the administration's poll numbers into the ground again, just like they did with Katrina.
While of course I sympathize with Americans who have to be in Lebanon for work and we need to do everything we can to get them and their dependents out, I do have to ask of people there on pleasure travel why they are travelling to a country like that just crawling with Islamic terrorists? So now we have to spend millions of dollars and commit extensive US military assets to evac. people who just needed somewhere new and exotic to go on vacation because Europe has become too run of the mill of a vacation for them? Please. And then these same people have the nerve to gripe that we're not acting fast enough for them. Here's a plan, next time vacation in somewhere that's not part of a war zone going back to ancient times.
