Top 10 Researched Vehicles on Gaywheels.com (It's what it sounds like)

Advertisement First-Time Look at What We are Researching

Revealing for the first time specifically which vehicles our users are researching, we have just released our list of Top 10 Most Researched Vehicles on Gayhweels.com. This list is noteworthy for a myriad of reasons; the most interesting being that all the vehilces on the Top 10 list, and the Top 20 for that matter, are from gay-friendly manufacturers.

Gaywheels.com Top 10 Most Researched Vehicles

1 Saturn Sky 2 Toyota Yaris 3 Dodge Caliber 4 Volkswagen Jetta 5 Toyota Camry 6 Audi A3 7 Toyota Prius 8 Saab 9-3 (sedan and convertible) 9 Pontiac G6 (sedan, coupe and convertible) 10 Mazda MX-5

Notice also that the Top 10 aren't all luxury brands or from manufacturers that one would normally associate with the gay consumer. The fact of the matter is, we are a very diverse group of people united by sexual orientation. We represent every ethnicity, income group and live in 99% of the counties in the U.S. Statistically, we have a higher disposable income and like to spend more on luxury goods but there are those amongst us that are perfectly happy with more affordable products. The most important fact revealed in this data is that our community clearly supports companies that treat us with respect. And for that, we thank all the gay-friendly companies in all industries in the U.S.

Gaywheels.com classifies all vehicle manufacturers as gay-friendly or not based on their corporate policies for offering domestic-partner benefits to their employees in the U.S. The Most Researched list is based on website statistics gathered from April 1 – June 30, 2006 from Gaywheels.com New Car section powered by Edmunds.com data.

I was looking up info on the Saturn Sky and came across this, for it's worth.

And I thought these people were just plain addicted to getting a Hummer.

WTH *is* a Saturn Sky, anyway? The name even *sounds* gay.

Hmmm, no Ford on the list. And I was surprised that there wasn't a Subaru either.

I was at a car show last night and saw a Sky sitting there - really sharp looking vehicle but this is a little off-putting.

It's an awesome and hard to get convertible.

Someone once told me that "Subaru" is the Japanese word for "lesbian". After I bought one of course.

I was expecting more Volvo's and Subaru's on the list.

Well at least the Subaru Outback is not on the list.

My teenager drives an Outback and evidently it was at one time considered a popular choice among lesbians.

He's taken a little joking from his buddies about driving it, but it's a good car!

"I see a lot of lesbians in pickup trucks.

I usually see them on motocross bikes with the seats removed.

I guess it's pretty much what you'd expect although it looks like more of a list of women's rather than gay cars.

You can always go for the Pontiac Solstice, it's the same car.
