Document http://70.168.46.200/Released/07-24-06/ISGQ-2005-00022470.pdf that was written sometimes after the Iraq war talks about an Iraqi dissident named “Abu Abdallah” who says that Iraqi WMD were moved to Syria before the war on the month of 10 Mouharam (Islamic calendar) i.e. March 10. The document was apparently reviewed by the Department of Defense as you the word D.O.D (in Latin letters) written on the side of the document.

Beginning of the translation http://70.168.46.200/Released/07-24-06/ISGQ-2005-00022470.pdf

Dear Respected Sir

Subject: We have information about the location of the Weapons of Mass Destruction

In the day of 10 Mouharam before the coalition forces started the war on Iraq, 50 trucks for land transportation entered Syria on an intermittent convoy. I met some of the drivers and they did not know what they carried in these trucks. These trucks were loaded from an unknown location in Baghdad and was brought to the drivers and the Iraqi Intelligence was with them. Each time they crossed a certain distance, the Iraqi Intelligence stopped them and asked them what are they carrying and their answer was we do not know. And when these trucks arrived to Syria in the area of Deir Al Zour the drivers were taken out of their trucks and the Syrian Intelligence ride instead. These trucks were entered into large warehouses and when these trucks were emptied it was given back to the Iraqi drivers. And they were given a reward worth of 200 dollars for the safety of arrival. One of the drivers mentioned to me that this was second time they carry these secrets loads and the first time was 1 Mouharam.

I have a friend in Syria who works in a Syrian company as partner with a Syrian merchant. This person is an Iraqi ex-Consul in the Iraqi embassies and he resigned from the diplomatic circle and he has strong connection with the Iraqi Embassy in Syria and he knows all the Iraqi Intelligence and those knows that I work for the Iraqi opposition in Syria. I was visiting him daily during this period to find out the important news. When the trucks entered Syria I went to him and told him that Iraqi Weapons entered Syria so he said to me who told you that and I said to him I knew from my sources, and he told me to keep this confidential and not tell anyone because it indeed entered.

A gigantic 'Thankyou' again jveritas. Hopefully, one of these days you'll get some recognition from those now in power for your dedication.

Hehe! How about a ticker tape parade through the streets of New York and the 'Star' of the parade in a chariot cracking a whip on the backs of the MSM and democRATs who are made to pull your chariot. I'd fly out and buy a front row seat for that.
:>)))))

Thanks jveritas for all your work in translating.

The MSM have really underestimated the power of the Internet. Plus you've got word of mouth. I know I've told a handful of people about the WMD's and they believed me:)

There's a better chance of seeing the headline "Suri Cruise: Where is she?" than "Bush was right, there were WMDs!!!"

The problem for Bush is that if he says "new intelligence shows that there were WMD's" it's still not good enough. Unless the WMD's themselves show up, Bush really can't say anything without the MSM spinning it.

And if the WMD's DO show up then the MSM and the Democrats will be in big trouble.

The WMD move to Syria must be investigated very well. In fact the Iraq Survey Group (ISG) did not thoroughly investigate this angle, and last year they added an addendum to their initial report (October 2004) recommending investigate the WMD potential move to Syria.

PS: I checked today for the ISG report on the CIA website and it is GONE!!!

This is great news. Worth taking a picture of. It is just to bad that the MSM won't let anyone see us smile.

WOW!! Thanks for the 'ping' and for doing one heck of a job on this front!!
I hope it's sooner rather than later that this info gets out...the Administrations back-sliding on this has been very aggravating.
Why, when everyone KNOWS, do they say that our intel was faulty...I also find it amazing that while "W" was Governor of Texas he was able to get all those "powerful" people in Washington to believe that there were WMD's in Iraq (gotta be that Rove-Hypnotizing-Machine)
(_8o) DOH!

If Assad attacks IDF forces in Lebanon or Israel with Saddam's WMD, Damascus will be a ruinous heap in short order.

"looks like we didn't go fast enough"

Actually, we went when we were ready. President Bush didn't delay because of the UN.

He used the UN as the excuse to delay until Putin's crews could move it. We didn't want those type of weapons left out where the terrorists could get to them before we could.

So, the Ruskies hauled them away. Not just in a convoy, for the things that required trucks, but others were taken out on planes. They used the ambulance planes (supposed to be carrying out wounded) to ferry the cargo.

Many, many trips were made to get the most dangerous stuff.
But it would have been hard for the locals to identify what was taken out as being a WMD. They were taking out the guts of warheads, canisters, piping, locked briefcases, and pretty much resembled things being taken out by everyone else.

The Russian Government and weapons manufacturers had a written plan covering the nations that, if threatened with invasion, would need to have Russian supplied weapons components that violated UN resolutions removed. President Bush knows about this document, and had a general idea of what weapons were involved.

Nobody was loading huge SCUDS into trucks. It was only the illegal warheads that needed to be taken.

The real issue we had to deal with is the issue of the amount of regular weapons/explosives, and that was more of a problem than the WMD's. Saddam had weapons depots all over Iraq, comparable in number to the public schools in our country. And each was at least the size of a football field. He had enough weapons to arm just about everyone....on the planet.....twice.

When we first went in, we were destroying 100 tons a day of weapons, and hadn't even made a dent.

The Russians removed the Chem/Bio/Radioactive components for WMD's to protect their image.
We allowed it to protect our soldiers.
