This is a disgusting practice, but why is it that so many in the West feel it is appropriate to circumcise males?
Admittedly the degree of mutilation is generally greater for females, and the circumstances are generally more barbaric, but both are disgusting. Ever wonder why almost all circumcisions are performed on children who are powerless to prevent them?
