Hezbollah guerrillas also endanger U.N. troops by systematically setting up rocket launches alongside U.N. bases, either in the hope that Israel will think twice before firing back, or with the cynical aim of generating bad publicity for Israel by enticing it to bomb peacekeeping troops. They had sidled up to the U.N. bases to strike Israel at least four times in 24 hours this week, officials here said.

Look at where that's placed, and the arrogance and condecention! It amazes me sometimes at the information that the liberal media will simply brush off as offhand.

"oh yeah, and btw... Hezbollah also endangers UN Troops by blah blah........ Could be for this reason or this reason.....

But we're not gonna investigate it any further. That's not really news. You conservative bastards are lucky we even put it in the middle of this article in the first place.... piss off"

How evil Israel is, *that's* news.

Kick the contemptible UN out right now and stop the absurd pretense that they are doing anything for the forces of goodness on this planet.

Yes, Israel is evil. Just ask General Pelligrini, of the UN forces:

They're taking the cover of villages or U.N. positions to act, hoping this proximity to people will be a problem to [Israeli troops] when they have to respond," said Gen. Alain Pellegrini, commander of the U.N. force, who met with reporters inside a bomb shelter. But Israel "doesn't take this into account."

So, Israel is to "take this into account" and IGNORE the strikes from these positions, General?

To bad you, and Kofi, and Lebanon didn't do the job you were sent there to oversee; if you had, they wouldn't be using your positions to lob rockets into Israel, would they?

Hmmmmm, I wonder if the (at its very best) inept UN should pull its "peacekeeping" monitors out of harm's way during full-on wars. Just a thought.

That explains alot. The anti-israel media and the anti-israel UN have alot in common.

I've gotten so much use out of this story showing people how biased the media really is. I hope they keep it up, as everybody including those people I know that fall more on the left side of the aisle agree that this is clearly newsworthy.
