I almost shut Bottle Rocket off when I rented it. "THIS is what people are telling me is so damned funny?" I think the same director did Rushmore, which I enjoyed, The Royal Tenanbaums, which was ok in a boring way, and the unwatchable Life Aquatic.
Bottle Rocket is a movie they fiananced themselves. Pretty astounding that they pulled it off, with James Caan.
BTW - the point of this thread is that you can watch it without renting. There are no special effects, so it will play just fine.
