Thirty years ago, my Dad once sat next to Alice Cooper on an airline flight. He was surprised to find out Cooper was a nice guy and very "normal." Cooper basically told him that his persona was all a marketing act. Back then I guess he was out there, probably mild by today's standards.

He still has a lot of cred with today's youngsters. My lad (who knows his stuff) rates his recent CD's. He still rocks but in a more righteous fashion (apparently -I've not listened myself).
