From our intrepid correspondent on site down in Texas, Crawford Activist, we have this photo of Cindy Sheehan registering to vote in the local post office last Tuesday:
Crawford Activist reports that Mother Sheehan then left Crawford late Tuesday afternoon to attend a conference in Seattle she is headlining.
Ms. Sheehan is supposed to return to Crawford Friday morning in time to protest the RNC fundraiser near the President's ranch.
Then Cindy is off again to give a speech in Washington, DC on Saturday. It seems she just can't resist those speaking fees.
But hasn't our hero mother broken Texas law by registering to vote when she is not a Texas resident?
To be eligible to register in Texas, you must:
* be a U.S. citizen;
* be a resident of the county;
* be 18 years old (you may register at 17 years and 10 months);
* not a convicted felon (unless a person's sentence is completed, including any probation or parole)
* not declared mentally incapacitated by a court of law
In fact, current voting requirements in Texas require one to be a resident for at least thirty (30) days.
Perhaps Cindy is so dizzy from her relentless fasting she is confused about the state laws.
Of course I'm kidding. We all know Mother Sheehan, being a higher moral being, abides by her own set of rules in all things.
Including fasting and voting.
Sheehanigans.
Is there even a house to reside on somewhere in that property she obtained slandering the name and wishes of her son?
Is she still registered to vote in Berkeley, CA?
The local paper several days indicated that she bought property about 10 miles from the Bush ranch which she's opened up to any and all protestors. However, doesn't the state have a residence waiting period before a person can vote in the state?
Is the lot in her name yet? I thought that wasn't happening until September or something.
she is without a doubt every man's nightmare.

And some of the internet would have us believe she has zipped back to Berkeley to squelch rumors of a love affair with Lew Rockwell.
