It has been a long time since the President used that phrase...which was perfectly understandable at the beginning of this struggle, as we needed assistance from Turkey, Jordan, and Syria.

Lately he has been talking of "Islamic fascists."

AMEN! I am so sick of that quote being used as a subtle dig at the President. I believe that he was also trying to reassure American Muslims that our fight was with those who have high-jacked the Muslim religion in order to to advance themselves, not with those Muslims who were just trying to live their lives, raise their children, etc. The Koran not withstanding, I don't believe the "average Muslim" wants to kill all of us "infidels".
