(Milford-AP, Aug. 14, 2006 6:13 AM) _ A poster protest in Milford continues with some military veterans taking issues with a poster in the window of a local liquor store.
Some veterans organizations are calling for a boycott of TJs Package store if owner Thomas Jakubisyn does not remove the cartoon poster.
The cartoon depicts a soldier in camouflage and reads: "Out of Work? Undereducated? No Health Plan? Join the Army and see Iraq."
Jakubisyn, a Vietnam veteran, says he has no intention of taking the sign down.
Members of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Vietnam Veterans of America and Military Moms have joined forces and formed "Veterans and Families for the Troops."
One of the protesters says the cartoon feeds into an inaccurate stereotype that American soldiers are less educated and less employable.

Guess we won't be inviting this piece of trash to the anti-Murtha rally.

Yup.
That's the beauty of freedom.
This fool is free to trash our soldiers.
Equally normal thinking Americans are free to stop buying his garbage.
Maybe he should be asking the ditzy chicks how their concert is going these days.
Note to sucker : No, the army won't have you when you go out of business.

I have the honor of working with our fine troops.
The vast majority of them are clean-cut, well-spoken, respectful people who make me proud to be American.
Thomas Jakubisyn isn't good enough to clean the boots of any soldier I've ever met here.

I live in Milford - he's milking this for all its worth. Lots of local moonbats who hang out at the wannabe starbucks up the street are embracing him.
But in this case some people are as stupid as they look.

His nose tells me this guy drinks a lot of his profits from the liquor store! I noticed that as well.
I just don't get folks like this. You can disagree with America's foreign policy, and even trash the President/SecDef/SecState/whomever. They're big boys and girls and can defend themselves. But to trash our troops and their families left behind at home? ESPECIALLY when this turd was one of them?!?
I truly despise the slimeballs like TJ, Murtha and John Kerry.
Oh, that's right. I forgot. They support the troops, but not the war. < / sarcasm >

How do we know he really IS a Vietnam Vet? For all we know, he's a veteran of the Flight to Canada. Or he could be a Vietnam era vet who served at a public affairs office in South Dakota.
