""And I know some of you are outraged that I would compare bestiality to this," she said. "Forty or 50 years ago, people would be outraged that we were talking about gay marriage." "

How true, how true.

She had a valid question. I notice that no one answered her question. Instead, they attack her for asking it.

Clearly, homosexuals know that same gender sex is a perversion. They just play the victim to try to assuage their guilt.

I just wish that it was Janet Rowland running for Governor instead of Bob Beauprez. She is much more true to her values.

She never should have apologized; she had nothing to apologize for.

She's never held statewide office or been in the legislature, she's a county commissioner. She strikes me as out of her depth. But Bob is a Denver guy and he needed a women and a Westerner to balance the ticket.

He's got to start running his campaign and not reacting. Holtzman inflicted a lot of damage with this "Both Ways Bob" crap and the Dem 547 attack ads are starting.

"For some people, the alternative lifestyle is bestiality. Do we allow a man to marry a sheep?"

Sounds fine to me....

What did she say that's wrong? Homosexuality is akin to bestiality. But to tell the truth in these times of moral relativism is enough to get you damned.

The sex positive agenda (which uses the homosexual agenda as a battering ram to society's laws and morals) seeks to end ALL moral judgment over sexual pairings regardless of sex, age, relation, marital status, number, or species of partner(s).

We hear how the ancient Greeks have depicted homosexuality in their art and pottery. Same can be said of beastiality.

In a March 17 broadcast of the Rocky Mountain PBS program "Colorado State of Mind," Rowland said homosexuality is an alternative lifestyle, adding, "For some people, the alternative lifestyle is bestiality. Do we allow a man to marry a sheep?"

Democrat Bill Ritter's campaign called the remarks "insensitive, close-minded, derogatory and crude" and demanded an apology.

Of course they did. The truth is quite "insensitive" to any false illusions people might harbor for peace of mind.

She was absolutely correct in her comments. Give me the "insensitive" truth every time! Bravo!

There are already people who will their estates away to their pets. This would just make their relationship more official.

Old cat women would be able to get coverage for their favorite pet under their company's insurance plan.

Just another alternative lifestyle.

The Dems out here think that her remark will really move the swing votes over to their side. I doubt it, though. People I've talked to about the comment just think it's shocking but really funny and true. They probably gained some Independents over this.

snip-"We all say things we don't mean sometimes," he said. "That's what happened."

This is the only offensive thing that has been said.

The type of rhetoric used by Janet Rowland is a good example of that commonly used by Phyllis Schlafly in her opposition to the Equal Rights Amendment (Which by the way, is a favorable comparison)

There are a lot of people who take a particular stand on things like the Equal Rights Amendment, and...hey...that sounds okay...I have no problem with that. Equal rights is a GOOD thing, right?

Then along comes Phyllis Schlafly, who asks the questions nobody wants to hear, or just hadn't thought of, as this woman Rowland did. It is not always comfortable to hear these things, but, then again...who wants to hear about the details of homosexual relationships, which are constantly foisted on us? I am sorry they think there is a problem with Bestiality, but as she said, 50 years ago, homosexuality was on par with bestiality in the minds of most normal people.

Well, there went the votes of the two homosexuals who were going to vote Republican.

Look, the Republicans are never going to get the gay vote. Why can't these candidates speak their mind?

Fact is, when you express shock at the man-beast or father-daughter "relationship" you're making a moral judgment. So, if homosexuals can make such a judgment then we're free to make judgment against their particular, um, lifestyle.
