Biden took pains to point out that not only had his home state of Delaware been a border state, but indeed "a slave state." Seemed a strange way for Joe to establish his southern street cred. I got a chuckle out of that line. I halfway expected him to say the Deanism about how he wanted the Confederate flag flying good ol' boys to support him.
Biden was in Charleston yesterday when he was on Fox and he seemed to think that, based on his visit there, that he would do well in South Carolina.
But Charleston, like most Southern coastal towns, has been flooded by relocated yankees. If he goes into the country side where there are some native Southerners left (like me) he won't feel so confident.
