When the George Soros backed Democrat liberals begin winning elections you will see the move toward legalization of drugs. I understand Soros wants drugs legalized. The carnage on the roads from alcohol consumption is ugly. Anyone have numbers from the pot smokers accident numbers?
I have been told they are not even close.

I remember someone stating on FR that pot smokers drive better than drivers stone cold sober. Honestly. With a straight face.

And they wouldn't be.

Since Alchohol is legal and more people drink then do smoke pot, then the numbers wouldn't even be close.

If the numbers of consumers was even, or near even, to begin with, then you would probably find that the number of accidents were nearly equal.

what in the world makes you think big-government nany-state liberals would advocate an increase in personal liberty?

this pie-in-the-sky fallacy is maybe the only reason Dems get elected in this country, and you help them by perpetuating the myth.

It would be interesting if one of the major parties became an advocate for personal liberty and limited government, but unfortunately both tend toward statist policies to keep their awkward coalitions voting for them.
