Kerry revives 2004 election allegations
By DAVID HAMMER, Associated Press Writer 15 minutes ago
Sen. John Kerry didn't contest the results at the time, but now that he's considering another run for the White House, he's alleging election improprieties by the Ohio Republican who oversaw the deciding vote in 2004.
An e-mail will be sent to 100,000 Democratic donors Tuesday asking them to support U.S. Rep. Ted Strickland (news, bio, voting record) for governor of Ohio. The bulk of the e-mail criticizes Strickland's opponent, GOP Secretary of State Ken Blackwell, for his dual role in 2004 as President Bush's honorary Ohio campaign co-chairman and the state's top election official.
"He used the power of his state office to try to intimidate Ohioans and suppress the Democratic vote," said Kerry's e-mail.
Kerry, D-Mass., conceded the election when he lost Ohio and its 20 electoral votes. A recount requested by minor-party candidates showed Bush won by about 118,000 votes out of 5.5 million cast. But Kerry's e-mail says Blackwell "used his office to abuse our democracy and threaten basic voting rights."
Multiple lawsuits by outside groups were unsuccessful in challenging Ohio's 2004 election. One case filed by the League of Women Voters is still in U.S. District Court in Toledo. It claims Ohio's election system discriminates against minority voters.

Democrats...They just lie and get away with it.
Anyone who wants to suppress the Democrat vote would simply propose a history test for voter eligibility.
Is that photoshopped? LOL
The Dems suppress their own vote by sentencing the children of their constituents to public education, wherein a great many are rendered incapable of mastering the "butterfly ballot".
One could suppress the Democrat vote by checking voters' citizenship.

If it took place, document it. If it didn't, prove it.
I've had quite enough of this lying jackass. Can't he go off to the ashheap of history where he belongs?
like it wasn't his face and his snotty attitude.
No, I think it's a real photo. ;-)
AhhhhIII don't think so.
Evil Republicans--requiring voters to have a pulse! The nerve!!
Dear Senator Kerry,
If you are so serious about allegations of disenfranchisement, I wouls suggest that you propose the voter ID act.
The nations voter rolls will be purged and everyone will reregister. This will be combined with electronic ballots with paper receipts.
That should take care of everything.

Oh please, what elections don't Democrats claim "massive irregularities" around anymore other than those they win? It's become their modus operendi because their arrogance and psychosis tells them no one could possibly not want to vote for them. Spare me.
This tactic is really unseemly and only serves to undermine confidence in the electoral process. That is not healthy for our democracy. The purpose is clear, it's to weaken the governing and moral authority of their opponents who beat them. No true patriot would engage in such slime without an ounce of evidence. This just further shows the contempt Kerry truly has for this nation and the extent to which he is a vile traitor.
Kerry, if you have the goods then bring the evidence. Short of that, shut the hell up. Go toss another grenade into a pile of rice you dumbass.
I suppose we could also suppress the Democrat vote by checking for a pulse.
LMAO!
