More of Carter's Little Pills

When I wrote about Jimmy Carter's antics recently, some suggested I should quit wasting my time discussing someone so irrelevant. Well, I'd be happy to comply, except that their assumption is incorrect. What this misguided and increasingly bitter man says, especially on foreign soil, does matter.

Don't forget that the Democratic Party leadership embraces Carter, as witnessed by his prominent role in the party's national convention, where he called President Bush -- in no uncertain terms -- a liar. Remember that when you're tempted to think of Carter as just a benign senior statesman.

I'll concede Carter has done some good works since he was defeated in 1980, but why that should insulate him from scrutiny for the many inappropriate and mean-spirited statements he's made since then escapes me.

I thought Democrats unanimously agreed that one of America's highest aspirations should be to ingratiate itself to its allies and other nations. Above all else, we should strive to be the most popular player on the international block.

Carter is a MEAN man with a very little mind.....plus he hates America when a Republican is in office, especially since Bush is seen as a strong Born-Again Christian!! Maybe Jimmah is jealous that Bush knocked him off his pedestal.

Jimmuh just won't shut up or fade away gracefully or otherwise, as he should. As I said at my blog, Jimmy Carter, Still A Failure

President Reagan did that first.

I'm talking about the "born again Christian" pedestal. Jimmah prided himself on that and now Bush is known for his strong Christianity and jimmah just can't have that!!

Looking at what he's done since he left office, you now understand why he was such a lousy President.

And he was elected primarily because he was a newcomer. That's the danger of electing a newcomer. You don't know what you're getting until it's too late.

He was elected also because he was a born again Christian and tons of evangelicals voted for him for that reason.

I won't. Everything Carter does, from driving nails at Habitat for Hamsters, to kissing dictator's asses and attacking his own country for the approval of foreigners, is for the sake of his own vanity and bile. You know a tree by its fruits, and a corrupt tree gives bad fruit. That's Carter - bad fruit, all the time.

If the United States was nearly as bad as Jimmy says, he'd be saying these things behind a sheet of lexan with a corded telephone receiver.

I was still in the Army in 1976 and stationed at Ft. Bragg, N.C., still fairly South back then. I clearly remember the Democrats campaigning locally for Carter with words like, He's a Southern Boy from Georgia. Are you gonna let the North beat us again?

I would like to see the Jimmy Carter Blvd. in the Atlanta area get renamed because he is despised so much. I would like to see Jimmy Carter see it renamed in his lifetime.

When my kids are of an older age and the MSM is trying to ram some Jimmy Carter beauty down the airwaves, they will turn to their spouse and say, "boy my dad sure couldn't stand that man." And then from their own knowledge they will pass along the facts about what a anti-American scumbucket he really was.

"Carter is a MEAN man with a very little mind..."

For years, I bought into the concept of him as a decent guy with some misguided opinions. But what he's said and written in recent years definately mark him as mean, egotistical, and bitterly partisan. Don't know if he's changed, or if his views are just being more accurately conveyed, but he was a disgrace as President, and continues the infamy decades after leaving office.

Yeah, and once he got in office, with all the problems we faced, he had nothing more compelling to do than personally approve who got to play on the White House tennis court.
