Good story, but the MSM will never get it. They fall for the lies of terrorists, political hacks, and PC pushers day in and day out. And only when it is so conclusively proven that they are regurgitating lies do they backtrack ... one small step only ... and then carry on as if their honor and integrity remains untarnished.
They carry on as if whatever they reported in the past is irrelevent to the story they are running now. They don't give context, and they don't think about context. They just report stories.
Nearly the whole of the MSM are suckers doing the bidding of others. Some knowingly, some by default because they seek sensationalist stories to gain approval from their peers and superiors. A few have risen high enough to simply be able to push and spin stories that suit their agenda.
I prefer to say that the agenda of journalism is that journalists are important. Journalism is cheap talk. Journalism promotes itself by tearing down people who actually do things instead of just talking.And journalism promotes people who promote journalism - calling them nice names like "progressive," "moderate," or - before they ran the term into the ground - "liberal."
Journalism is arrogant to promote itself so shamelessly at the expense of people who do necessary and often dangerous things. And journalism is cowardly to attack people whose job is to protect the people - including journalists. And journalism is cowardly to give propaganda to those who are attacking the people, journalists included.
