I for one wept when I saw Irwin with the Army Rangers
in the special where he helped the military remove
dangerous snakes from their training center in Louisiana.
Irwin's genuineness, passion and excitable nature, made
him enjoyable and real. His ENTIRE being was poured
into his work. Something you rarely see these days.
Most actors don't even move their lips, let alone their
face. With Steve, over the top enthusiasm for God's
creation showed in his face, body language and speech.
And that is what made him lovable and watchable.
Germaine is certainly NOT germaine when it comes to
compassion and sensitivity. Something she left behind
when she tried to become a man ... like Steve Irwin.
