The outrage had echoes of a 2003 controversy when Republicans successfully persuaded CBS to pull an unflattering and inaccurate biopic of the late Ronald Reagan.

Big difference! The GOP Senate didn't threaten CBS with a letter of protest over Reagan s film nor demanded censoring.

Also...when Dan Rather and CBS had those phoney forged documents about GWB's National Guard service neither Bush nor the GOP threatened CBS on that intentional smear either.

Right on! The Ronald Regan drama not only was played on CBS, but it continued to be played on Showtime. Also, Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 911 got movie play and is now being shown on the pay channels. Did anyone call for the deep sixing of any of these movies? No. We assume that this is a country where freedom of the press still exists--not so with the DemonoFascistRATs!
