The audience that tuned in for Katie Couric's first week on the "CBS Evening News" shrunk substantially by Friday, when the broadcast averaged 7.4 million viewers, 45 percent fewer than watched her Tuesday debut, according to Nielsen Media Research....

I think the whole thing was that people weren't tuning in to that network just to see Katie in the first place, so not many are switching to CBS.

I think the whole thing was that people weren't tuning in to that network just to see Katie in the first place, so not many are switching to CBS.But one didn't need an MBA to see that coming. Sheesh.
