Sounds like a group from the World Council of Churches. They are far from an Evangelical position. They most likely don't believe the Bible anyway, so why should any true Christian listen to them?

Jim Wallis will not be successful. As Will Rogers said,"I don't belong to an organized party, I am a Democrat." I doubt seriously that he can get a concensus. But, hey, it's America, he can give it a try.

The Democrats will NEVER make inroads among evangelicals until they start backing homeschooling.
That is the gold standand for homeschooling evangelicals, and Democrats will NEVER yield control of kids minds away from the government school system.

I smelt the stank of it comming when I saw my first "Proud member of the religious left" bumper sticker, over a year ago, co-inciding with the first MSM focus pieces on "liberal religious".
