My dad, my hero (Pass the tissues ALERT!!!)

STEVE Irwin's daughter Bindi has told a packed memorial service that her dad was her hero and she did not want her father's passion for wildlife to ever end.
The little girl told mourners at Australia Zoo - and an international television and internet audience in excess of 300 million - that "my Daddy was my hero".
"He was always there for me when I needed him", Bindi said. "(But) most of all he was fun".
"I know Dad had an important jo - he was working to change the world so we everyone would love wildlife like he did", she said.
She said the Irwin family went everywhere with Steve on his expeditions.
"I don't want Daddy's passion to ever end", she said.
"I will miss him every day".
She said that Irwin had made Australia Zoo his whole life.
"Now it's our turn to help Daddy", she said.
Earlier, movie star Russell Crowe told the service that Irwin's sudden death suspended reality for people all over the planet.
Crowe, appearing from New York, told the packed service that the packed memorial should be joyful rather than mournful.
"Your passing has suspended reality for all of us...it was way too soon and completely unfair for all of us", Crowe said.
He said Irwin should know that "the world sends its love and that people all over this planet have been grieving".

God Bless his memory and may his children grow up to make his Mom proud and continue his calling.
To answer your question: No. I can't.

Anybody get through this without crying? I got a severe case of blurry eyes; however, I couldn't get through it without prayers for the family.

In a world of environmental activists, Steve was an active environmentalist.

Dear Lord,
Thank You for Steve Irwin and the fond memories we will have of him.
Please comfort and bless the Irwin family if it be Your will.
Please guide them if it be Your will.
Thank You God.
In Jesus' Holy name I pray this humble prayer.
Amen.

It is sad that he died, as he was so full of enthusiasm.
On another note, isn't 44 old for someone known as "The Crocadile Hunter?"
To: Aussie Dasher
No. Bindi looks a lot like her dad. She is absolutely precious.
