What were the Hittite's famous for doing in biblical times? Didn't they have some kind of sacrifices or something?
Actually it is not at all clear that the Biblical Hittites were the same people as the Anatolian Hittites, the ones who built the dam.The places that the Israelites encountered them don't match up with what is known outside of the Biblical accounts.
