"nooooooo thank you. If it's anywhere like where they get the other junk they sell, we'll pass."
Yep. Like Belize. There are certainly fake generic drugs out there, people just don't realize it.

well ya know I'm gonna want to buy drugs from Mao-Mart! LOL
Now THAT would make Lenin proud!
I'm sure these generics will be safe. WalMart is not about to open itself up to massive litigation by selling generics that aren't the real drug. There are plenty of legitimate generic drug makers willing to do business with WalMart.
WalMart knows perfectly well the first time a child died from a fake generic bought under this program the consequences would be enormous--lawsuits, boycotts, investigations, interrogations before Congress, etc., etc. They would be handing their political opponents the rope with which to hang themselves. WalMart didn't get where it is by being stupid.
I for one applaud WalMart for trying a market-based approach to help with the high cost of medicines.
Wal-Mart, the largest retailer in the world, who contends with three new lawsuits every day, is going to purchase their supplies of generic drugs over the internet from unknown sources rather than directly from the manufacturer? Is that what you think?
Do you think the FDA, knowing that Wal-Mart, the largest retailer in the world, is going to be selling generics, will be watching them a little bit to ensure they're sourcing products from legitimate suppliers? Do you think the media, who hate Wal-Mart because they're successful, will be watching and reporting should Wal-Mart do anything illegal or unethical?
People will believe just about anything I suppose. There are folks who still believe that Elvis is alive and living with aliens after all.
FDA, people!!!!
So you're implying Wal-Mart is going to sell fake drugs?
