On one hand, the right to vote is probably one of the most fundamental and important rights that we have in America. So, I can understand any reluctance to restrict access to the ballot box. However, all these voting ID laws do is protect our voting rights. They insure that each person voting is eligible, and our votes are not tainted by those who are not eligible to vote.

In my mind, every attempt to prevent the Voter ID laws, is a way of preserving the opportunity for fraud.
