I don't see the problem. It is a touching story.
It gives me more respect for Coach Allen, who kept his wife's secret, and married her and loved her anyway.
The Holocaust was an evil and inhumane environment that traumatized many of its victims and even their descendants. No one should condemn George Allen's mother for not wanting to re-open old wounds.
And no one should condemn George Allen for wanting to keep his family's personal grief private.
