Why not just use Steve's staff from the Australia Zoo?

I'd like to see Al Gore give it a whirl:
"Uh, Crike eee. That, that alligator sure looks big. Crocodile? Okay. He's ... he's quite a Doris, err Sheila. I'm ... I'm going to jump on it's back now and ... uh ... Whoa! They sure move fast, don't they? Arrrh! It's got my leg! Help! I'm in the water!"

I actually like Jeff Corwin. I remember one episode where he was lying next to a lion cub, then said it was actually a zoo animal. Because he wasn't crazy enough to be cuddling up to a wild lion.
To: HungarianGypsy
Jeff Corwin is pretty good. He doesn't wrestle gators but he's funny.

I hope they keep show repeats of the Croc Hunter. No doubt Steve would have wanted it to stay on the air.

Bindi won't be physically capable of doing the things Steve did, especially now that she's only 8, but even when she is grown up, she won't be able to either. She should certainly play a role, though.

Never heard of him. I was always partial to Marlin Perkins though.

Corwing got bit by a cobra a few years back. He icorporated the trip to the hospital and treatment into his show.

Marlin had a good gig, hanging in the studio with the chimp, smokin' blunts while Jim wrestled the boa in fetid swamp water.
