(From an E-mail I got..yes i'm on several of these lists. always nice to know what the moonbats are up to)
We have just six weeks until Election Day. I don't need to tell you how much is at stake this year - from our stagnating economy to the mess in Iraq to our growing health care crisis - so there is no excuse for you not to be involved.
That is why this Saturday, September 30th, America Votes, a coalition of the largest progressive organizations in the country, is coordinating a National Day of Action.
Please join us as we work in key states to make a difference and bring more voters to the polls.
There are a number of ways to participate: get out into your neighborhood, make calls from home, go to a rally, or host a house party.

More than any other recent election, 2006 could be a turning point in the progressive community. We have a real opportunity to take our country back. But to do so, we can't just sit home and hope others get involved. We need to stand up and make a difference.
Be a part of history and join the legion of activists who will knock on doors, make phone calls, register voters, and organize the vote in 2006.
No matter what issue most concerns you this year - the environment, choice, worker's rights, civil rights - you can make a difference with America Votes this Saturday.
Our broad coalition represents the entire progressive movement, and we connect you with like-minded organizations and individuals.

This year, activists across the country will choose to make a difference and hit the streets.
Join us and together we can turn the tide.
Sincerely,
Maggie Fox
President
P.S. Help build the progressive movement by telling your friends about America Votes and the September 30th Day of Action:
ROTFLOL! What economy are they talking about?
DOW PASSES ALL-TIME HIGH
At 9:39AM ET: 11,724.46 35.22
Gas is now around $2.00/gallon
Sales of New Homes Jump in August
I MUST be blind.....where is this "stagnating economy" of which they speak?
"The blood has been spilled in Iraq of more than 4,000 foreigners who came to fight,"

Now what were they saying about the "mess in Iraq"?
I'm curious about the "stagnant economy" referred to in the dingbat's e-mail. The DOW is at an historic high, the housing market is starting up again, gas has dropped in price, and, in Iraq, the latest from the terrorists is that they're losing steam. It all sounds like good news to me.
