It's like this. David Koresh was a nutcase and he was probably assembling illegal weapons. He also was molesting some of the kids in his congregation.
However, the facts are at the time, the feds didn't have any cause to indict Koresh on federal charges. They also could have picked any time they wanted for the arrest. Koresh used to come to town a lot and he jogged every morning. The raid was a photo-op for the ATF to justify their existance.
Plus the whole BATF should have been in NYC working on the first WTC bombing that happened two days before.
Pure photo op.
You know that for a fact, see it with your own eyes?
Or didja read it in the Dallas Morning Spew?
See, I read all those allegations, and they were printed, oddly enough, in the Nashville Tennessean on the Sunday morning that the assault on the Branch Davidians was launched.
Strikes me as just too too much of a coincidence that the smear campaign started the same day as the jack-booted thugs first started trying to batter down the doors of a church compound.
But that's just me.
That particular allegation was investigated by Texas authorities, no reliable evidence was found to support it.
But it was proclaimed loudly by the Fed. and their media dogs when the planned show went bad.
