Now there's a string of words I am not shocked to see in the same sentence - "French philosophy..Leave..home go into hiding". Sounds like a good definition of surrender.

On the internet in different forums, logical people tear up radical Islam and their murderous leader, Muhammed all the time. We reach probably a billion people, yet, if someone writes an article for a local rag seen by perhaps a few hundred people, he or she gets their life threatened.
The paper has still more prestigue, I agree.
The Internet is mainly anonomous. Don't underestimate these fascists. They'd kill for comments on the Internet, if they only knew who to hate.

Or perhaps they all need to cash in on their 72 virgins.
Their reaction is not because they don't see themselves as violent nor because they don't recognize Islamic doctrines calls to violence. The reaction is because they are taught that Infidels have no right to ANY criticism of Islam and that good Muslims make Infidel submit to this Islamic rule by whatever means necessary - including violence.
But is the West ready to confront this hard reality?
Le Figaro has the largest circulation of any French paper (around 400,000) and is circulated in many of the muslim areas of North Africa.
