Rumor is there is a Gay Republican Senator. I don't think Democrats realize this Mary Cheney tactic backfires on them.
What's weird is on the list I've seen of possible names, not one of them is up for reelection this year. Perhaps the hope is that conservatives will be so put off by having a gay Senator (even if it's not one up for reelection) that they'll sit out this election , but I don't know.... Something very fishy is going on.
Has to be Goober Graham. As if that would be news...~!
I saw on one of the sites this morning that the Dem Senator that is gay is Barbara Mikulski.
