Fox is obviuosly trying to kiss up to the Clinton Kool Aid drinkers with all of this worthless talk. Worthless it is to the max.

it has "blown away"

They probably could have picked a better word than one with 'blow' in it. :)

The whole country isn't talking about it. Only politicos and perverts.

I don't buy it. The utter irrelevance of this matter to congressional elections aside, there is still over a month before the elections. Nobody but the most partisan Democrat voters are going to remember this in a month.

Especially after Rove launches his October Surprise. ;-)

Saw that too. I have a bad feeling something is going to happen soon. Dammit, this whole thing reeks of a game of chess and this might be "check-mate" Hope Im wrong.

I noticed that the stories by Fox news and the other MSM folks always state a "Pollster", with no name given. Could this pollster have an axe to grind against Hastert?

I just don't buy this. i asked the guys in my office what they thought about Foley and if they thought Hastert should resign. Only 1 person knew who Hastert was...nobody knew who Foley was. This is big news to news junkies only.

All we need is for President Bush to get out on the stump and pump up the base.

Now I remember.

Well, we shall see. The CW certainly has this as a nail in the coffin moment for the Republicans.

Still, the one thing that remains is the issues. Are there enough October suprises for the dems to keep the voters attention away from their positions on the issues. I have to tell you, the voters might be fixated on Foley, but more as a National Enquirer thing than something that affects their vote.

FOX is a POS network run by a Democrat that caught a unique slogan "fair and balanced" but that's all it is, a slogan.

Other than the media and the new-junkies, is anyone even paying any attention to this? Does anyone even care?

I don't know where Fox is coming up with this, but I think they are way wrong. Frankly, I was sick of hearing about day one. It's been talked to death and analyzed beyond necessity. I think (or maybe hope) that all this backfires and I see some of that happening now.

Watch for Bush to use this opportunity to quietly veto the 700 miles of border fence. I hope I'm wrong but then again...

If Republicans let this phoney Democrat and media created non sex sex scandal effect their vote in a negative way then they deserve to lose a hundred seats
