MOSCOW. Oct 5 (Interfax) - A "unilateral" U.S. law to use sanctions against states cooperating with Iran "impedes the work of the sextet in its collective format," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Thursday.

Lavrov was speaking to reporters ahead of a planned meeting in London of the sextet - Russia, the United States, Britain, France, China, and Germany -- which are seeking to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

"We had an agreement that we would do everything together, including analyzing the situation and working out means of pressure. What has happened has happened. We'll see what can be done in this situation," Lavrov said.

Russia's still pretending that they don't want Iran to have nukes.

"U.S. law to use sanctions against states cooperating with Iran "impedes the work of the sextet in its collective format,...."

And exactly what oh so successful work is that?

The only "work" the EU and the Russians have done with Iran is their work to insure that the diplomatic delays allow Iran to complete her nuke weapons plans.

I guess that's the work Russian is worried that our sanctions could impede; if our sanctions caused enough of our "allies" to cease their cooperation with Iran.

One would think that Russia would be concerned about a nuclear weapon gettting into Chechnya from the Middle East - and being utilized by Islamic terrorists.

Putin, the best friend the Axis of Evil could ever dream of.

Moscow continues fighting America through Russian armed proxies.
