I read on these same forums, that crushed cayenne pepper applied liberally to a wound will also stop bleeding in about 10-15 seconds. It won't help with arterial bleeding, but for most cuts, it works about as well and fast as this new nano tech.
As a bonus, you can get it now and at any grocery store.
Still, I echo the comments above, this new stuff needs to get out to the troops as soon as possible.

Very nice. I agree. Being on blood thinners myself, the fact that this item still works on patients that take them, is also a good plus.
