I saw a poll that has our great Governor with an 8 point lead over Woodcock. My God another 4 years with that guy in charge? It might be time to move.

I laugh when Dems I know blame Bush for our lousy economy. Funny I tell them because plenty of other states are doing just fine.

Recent polls and my gut tell me that Maryland's Senate seat is closer than the 8.4% lead for Mr. Cardin that Mr. Zogby reports.

I'd still give a slight edge to Mr. Cardin, but I think that the Maryland US Senate race is almost even, with Mr. Steele having some momentum.

Crossin' my fingers!

The best bubmpersticker I've seen was two Natural Disasters, Katrina and Baldachi. He is so fortunate the the national economy is doing well. If we were still in the Clinton Recession of 200-2002, he might be in trouble this year.

Dear LS,

"I do think Steele is slightly ahead,..."

I think that Mr. Cardin is slightly ahead, or it's pretty much even, but I think that Mr. Steele is the candidate on the move.

I'm not yet quite optimistic enough to call this a likely GOP gain, but I strongly believe that this is an achievable seat.

Nah. The Dems in this state would still just blame Bush.

I find it funny how Zogby tends to start out his polls giving the Dems a huge advantage but as it gets closer to election day he tightens the polls. Hmmmm?

I agree. But I think we'll win NJ too which gets us to 53 seats. And Chafee being gone is no loss.

That's right. To a liberal every bad thing from the beginning of time to the end of humanity is the President's fault.

Well since they believe in an all powerful central government they'll always give local government a pass no matter how incompetent.

For the love of everything that is Holy, why do we get in this state EVERY, SINGLE, ELECTION to turn our attention to the pollsters, who have the probably the worse records of accuracy in the country?

The MSM and pollsters walk arm in arm and we pose ourselves on the edge of the cliff like lemmings ready to jump when these people issue their latest mutterings.

This is a last ditch effort of the media and the socialists of democrat party to survive. They are going to throw everything into this election, no holds barred, no deed to low, no lie too insidious and all we have to do to beat them back is stay calm, focused and resolute and walk into the voting booth with a smile on our face and drive a stake into the heart of this socialist cancer which has been eating away on our Republic.

I'm voting for TABOR. I know it won't pass. But eventually there won't be enough producers in this state to pay for all the welfare recipients. Then the democrats will want to raise taxes even more. Maine will then implode and become a hole in the ground.

This is the same Zogby who is going to have a show on the new Left radio network, Nova. I'm sure he's not biased...

I think there has been a small shift back to the GOP as the election nears. We'll see if it continues.

It seems like the Republican Party always has an uphill fight when they come up against the Rat Party and their attack dogs in the media......
