A law student in St. Paul, Minn., is accused of pretending to be a U.S. representative to obtain visas for relatives and others in his native Cameroon. Njock Eyong, 26, is charged with impersonating a federal official, possession of fraudulent visa documents and fraud by wire scheme, according to an Oct. 11 indictment in U.S. District Court in the District.

Damn!!! I thought you were joking...then I read the rest of the article.

Hillary would probably call it an innocent bureaucratic SNAFU (or would that be Bill?).

This is so weird. I was just about to ask someone to look for a non-AP stopry on this. THANK YOU. More corrupt Dems.

But a criminal conviction could jeopardize Mr. Eyong's plans to become a civil rights lawyer,

Could? Could? As a lapsed lawyer myself, this guy should be thrown out of law school right now, don't wait for the conviction. What ever happened to 'appearance of impropriety'???

First, revoke his student visa. Then prosecute him for immigration fraud and deport him back to Cameroon. He has already disqualified himself from being able to join the bar and practice law here. Unclear on the concept of law, all together. Wonder what they were teaching him in that law school.

Forgot to say: Of course he has a public defender, so we are paying for this POS in several different ways.

Well, we're supposed to be liberal about these things. Call the ACLU so they can defend him against any legal charges, against being thrown out of school, and against being deported.

Why hang him? He hasn't committed a capital offense. But he does seriously need to be deported.
